Join the Wharton Club of South Florida for The Business of Boating: Impact on South Florida.
The Business of Boating: Impact on South Florida focuses on the outsized impact on the South Florida economy that recreational boating has. Join us as we take a deep dive into the success factors that drive businesses that compete for sales and service and the challenges they face. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the CEO of the industry association, and the management of a major boatyard that handles some of the priciest mega-yachts that frequent Ft. Lauderdale, as well as interact with a broker of one of the largest yacht and charter brokerages in the world, located right here in South Florida (Northrop and Johnson). The program will feature an interview of Andrew Heller, a member of the Board of the Wharton Club, resident of Ft. Lauderdale and mega-yacht owner.
The event is sponsored by the Marine Industry Association of South Florida, The Lauderdale Marine Center, and Northrop & Johnson.
