Diana C. Robertson is the Samuel A. Blank Professor of Legal Studies and Business Ethics at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In July 2019, she was appointed the Vice Dean and Director of the Wharton Undergraduate Division. She received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her Ph.D. from UCLA. Previously, she served on the faculties of London Business School, Emory University, and, as a Visiting Professor, the London School of Economics.
Professor Robertson is known for her interdisciplinary research on individual and organizational business ethics. Her work incorporates perspectives from neuroscience, psychology, sociology, and organizational behavior. Professor Robertson’s research has been published in top academic journals, including Management Science, Organization Science, Business Ethics Quarterly, Journal of Marketing Research, and PLOS ONE. She is co-editor of the book, Thinking About Bribery: Neuroscience, Moral Cognition, and the Psychology of Bribery (Cambridge University Press, 2017).
Professor Robertson has earned numerous awards for both research and teaching. Most recently in 2018, she was recognized by Poets and Quants as one of the Top 50 Undergraduate Business School Professors. In addition to her service on numerous university-wide committees, she has also served on two councils at the World Economic Forum: the Values Advisory Council and the Role of Business Advisory Council.
