Gather with your fellow alumni for a virtual town hall and get the latest news from Wharton! The Wharton Club of South Florida, in collaboration with The Wharton Club of Philadelphia, is pleased to host Shannon Connelly, Executive Director of Wharton Alumni Relations, as she shares updates from the School and addresses topics that are at the forefront of our minds.

    • Have you ever wondered if it helps an applicant’s chances for an alumnus to write a letter on his or her behalf to Wharton Admissions?
    • Are you interested in knowing what Wharton resources are available to alumni who decide to make a career change?
    • Are you curious how the COVID-19 pandemic has changed how Wharton operates, and which of those changes will become permanent after the pandemic subsides?

Shannon Connelly
Shannon Connelly is the Executive Director of the Wharton Alumni Relations team. Believing she has the absolute best job at Wharton, Shannon aspires to build a culture of engagement within the largest business school alumni network in the world (100,000+ graduates strong!). Since 2005, Shannon has worn many hats at the University (MBA Admissions, MBA Career Management, Penn overseas study). Each role she held had significant interaction with alumni, allowing Shannon to develop a clear understanding of what Wharton graduates most value about their alma mater.

Prior to working in higher education, Shannon worked in a corporate recruiting and training role at JPMorgan Chase. A perpetual student, Shannon has an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University, a master’s degree from American University, and is currently taking courses in Penn’s Organizational Dynamics program
