The Wharton Club of South Florida is pleased to welcome Dr. Peter Linneman, Principal of Linneman Associates, CEO of KL Realty, and American Land Fund, is Professor Emeritus, Real Estate, Finance, and Business Public Policy at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Linneman, widely recognized as a leading strategic thinker and investment advisor, has been the co-editor of The Wharton Real Estate Review, published over 80 scholarly articles and three editions of the acclaimed now standard textbook "Real Estate Finance and Investments: Risks and Opportunities", plus the widely read Linneman Letter quarterly report. Peter remains a frequent guest lecturer for major real estate corporations and conference sponsors throughout the world. Peter received numerous awards for excellence including the PREA's prestigious Graaskamp Award for Real Estate Research, Wharton's Zell-Lurie Real Estate Center's Lifetime Achievement Award, Realty Stock Magazine's Special Achievement Award, being named "One of the 25 Most Influential People in Real Estate" by Realtor Magazine. Peter has been active in Africa through his efforts in the "Save A Mind, Give A Choice" educational charity for orphans and children of extreme poverty in rural Kenya.
